Minimum requirements:
  • Matric essential (Accounting)
  • Tertiary studies in Accounting or Finance (relevant courses or certificates)
  • Minimum 2 years experience as a junior accountant or accounting clerk
  • Experience with Syspro (advantageous)
  • Knowledge of agricultural business environments (advantageous)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English
  • Able to work independently with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
  • Own reliable vehicle and valid drivers license
Key responsibilities:
  • Preparation of financial statements
  • Reviewing and supervising subordinates work
  • Budgeting and cash flow assistance
  • Month-end closing procedures
  • Preparation of monthly working paper files
  • Handling queries from the Financial Manager
