Johannesburg - A Leading Pharmaceutical Company has a vacancy for a Logistics Coordinator.Main Purpose of the Role:To optimize the stock-holding within the warehousing and distribution network and 3PL distribution partners to maximize Pharma and State sales, control costs, in accordance with pre-determined KPIs and service levels Working to encouraging a cooperative and trusted relationship with the service providers based on the business requirements and the contractual obligations, to maximize sales at the required service levels.Key Responsibilities:Outbound Sales Facilitation and 3PL Management:Communicate SOH reports and remediation of Out of Stocks and low days of stock cover with Demand Planning team.Monitor stock received in a quarantine status and ensure time critical Operations release post release notification being received.Internal Customer Interaction Pharmaceutical and State:Regular discussion with Brand and Product Managers and state planning teams around stock availability. Reviewing stock availability relating to marketing strategies, new launches, new tenders, product info and any market related trends. Regular discussions with Demand Planners ensuring products are released, allocations are done, and recommendations made aligned to Pharma and State true demand. Back orders are sent regularly to fast track any critical lines and sourcing of product to fill demand is constantly taking place. Regular interaction with all key stakeholders within the supply chain to facilitate stock availability to secure deliveries are on time and in full. Collaboration of with key stakeholder including Commercial Heads, Brand managers, BU Heads to support the respective Pharma and State sales through this distribution channel.Stock Management Pharmaceutical and State:Monitor stock levels at UPD Distribution nationally for sales divisionsOrder in regularly to maintain stocks at optimal levels. Replenishment of all lines into UPD is done weekly including facilitating of Inter Branch Transfers.Together with the Customer Service Lead manage the DOC in-line within Company parameters including the correct mix based on internal and external factors. Together with the Customer Service Lead fast track products that are in short supply from order to delivery. Track and manage all inbound deliveries and report any deviations. Together with the Customer Service Lead analyse selling trends on a regular basis to ensure correct levels of stock are being held. Brief all key stakeholders on Goods in Transit (GIT)Logistics Value Chain Management:Adherence of key business processes across the supply chain for the purpose of creating value for customers and all stake holders. Together with the Customer Service Lead weekly Operations meetings managed and attended. Daily contact and interaction with both JHB and CPT Distribution Centres.
