SALARY: R5500
Duties and
Responsibilities:
·
To assist with the installation and servicing of Fire systems using
various hand and power tools
·
To collect, gather, pass on to the
technician, and look after the safekeeping of: all tools, equipment and stock
that the technicians use.
·
Assist with the
collection, loading, delivery
and transportation of materials
required for their or another teams project between the Company’s premises,
premises of suppliers and the project site.
·
To ensure they fully understand each instruction given to them by their
technician(s)
·
To listen, adhere and learn from all
legitimate instructions or information from their technicians and / or
management.
·
To report to their technician(s) of
their progress throughout the day
·
To clean the technician(s) vehicle on
a weekly basis or as instructed by technician and/or management.
·
To learn through practice the
installation of cabling and conduit and the use of the Cabler’s tools.
·
Assist with any general maintenance
around the office, on company vehicles or on a customer’s site as instructed by
management.
Knowledge, Skills and
experience
·
Matric compulsory
·
Driver’s license compulsory
·
Zero tolerance to drugs and alcohol – DRUG TEST WILL BE DONE
·
Experience not necessary but advantageous (Has worked , taken and obeyed instructions within a team)
·
Should be able to use basic hand and power tools ie. Screwdriver, drill,
grinder
