Local Tennis Development (LTD Tennis) School at Chrismar Tennis Club in Bellville Provides group- and individual coaching to players of ALL AGES and skill levels. Situated 2.6 kilometres from Tygervalley Mall. Our coaches are trained and qualified with Tennis South Africa in affiliation with the ITF (International Tennis Federation). We teach tennis to young beginners by making use of the ITF‘s new Play&Stay methods, which increases a child’s enjoyment and success in tennis from a younger age! Private lessons and semi-private lessons where two or three take part in the lesson, are ideal for focusing on an individual's technique, and group lessons are ideal for a more social element to the lesson. We also coach school groups at their or our tennis courts. Group lessons are R715 per school term, and lessons taking place on weekdays during the morning (for example homeschool students or adults not working in the morning) are given at a special discount. Tennis is a life-long sport that improves a player’s general motor-skills as well as specific ball skills, which will benefit all other sports. It is also beneficial to health and fitness in general. Where other sports like rugby, netball, hockey and cricket are mostly only played during a person's school years and maybe varsity, tennis can be enjoyed well into your retirement years with friends and family of all ages and both genders.
