Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and meticulous Software Tester to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through comprehensive testing methodologies. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify issues, implement solutions, and ensure an exceptional user experience. Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate software functionality, performance, and usability.Conduct thorough regression testing to identify and address any regressions or bugs introduced during the development process.Perform exploratory testing to uncover hidden issues and potential areas for improvement.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews.Document and track defects using designated bug tracking tools, ensuring clear communication and timely resolution.Work closely with developers to isolate, troubleshoot, and resolve issues identified during testing.Provide feedback on product usability, performance, and overall quality to help drive continuous improvement.Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, testing methodologies, and emerging technologies to enhance testing processes and efficiency.Contribute to the creation and maintenance of automated test suites to streamline testing efforts and improve test coverage.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Software Tester or Quality Assurance Engineer in a software development environment.Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment.Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.Ability to effectively communicate technical information and collaborate with cross-functional teams.Experience with SQL Server and SQL databases. Knowledge regarding SQL queries.Experience with test automation and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript) is a plus.Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub, and Team City is a plus.ISTQB or similar certification is desirable but not required.
