Milling & Turning ,Edgecam Floor Supervisor

Floor Supervisor:For Engineering Company in Jet ParkEssential: !!!•Must have EDGECAM basic Milling & Turning Certificate•Experienced in the field of production and jobbing (10 years+)•Must have had conventional training to be qualified•Can program manually as well as CAD/CAM software (Download programs and set machine accordingly) •Age: 30-50 years old•Can read technical drawing and help with quoting•Must be a leader as he will overlook workshop and control the tool room•Micrometer experience/familiar with measuring equipment•Must be able to speak English•Must have own transport•Candidate should not be out of the industry for longer than 6 months•EDGECAM Advanced certificates or any other EDGECAM certificates is an advantage•Must be computer literateDuties:-The candidate will be required to issue tooling to machinist based off’ the program written (by the candidate) using EDGECAM software, -Ensure that the tooling required for the job is correct, -Stock control for the tooling is well maintained, -Oversee/Supervise all machinist on floor and ensure the jobs are machined/set up correctly -Assist with compiling quotations Please be advised that this is not an opportunity to learn programming after doing a basic course.The applicant must be able to work well under pressure, educated and must have sound common sense.
