Job Summary:
The Wash-bay Staff are responsible for cleaning the interior and exterior of shipping containers to ensure they are free from dirt, debris, and contaminants prior to inspection, repair, or dispatch. This is a hands-on role best suited to individuals who are physically fit, hardworking, and safety-conscious.

Key Responsibilities:

· Clean containers thoroughly using high-pressure hoses and appropriate equipment

· Ensure cleanliness standards are met in accordance with depot and customer requirements

· Safely handle and store cleaning chemicals, following health and safety protocols

· Identify and report any visible damage or contamination to supervisors

· Maintain a clean, organised wash-bay area at all times

· Follow instructions from Operations or Yard Supervisors and coordinate with other depot teams

· Assist with general yard duties when wash-bay activities are minimal

Requirements:

· Previous experience in a wash-bay, cleaning, or general labour role (advantageous)

· Physically fit and able to perform outdoor manual work in varying weather conditions

· A strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations

· Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
