Duties include the following, but not limited to: •Assessment, planning, delivering and evaluating care Clinical care within specialist area of nursing – medical directorate dealing with acute medical conditions / issues •Support the patient through investigation, diagnosis, treatment, discharge, transfer to another care area or to a dignified death • Deputise for the Senior Sister/ Charge Nurse Practice as a member of a multi-disciplinary team. •Support the Senior Sister / Senior Charge Nurse to manage the unit / department,including the employing and selection of staff •Deployment and supervision Ongoing assessment of staffing needs •Patient dependency Supervise and educate junior staff, overseeing and carrying out clinical supervision •To take lead responsibility for co-ordinating and facilitating the activities of the ward during each shift Requirements: •Registration with the SANC •Registered Nurse •Extensive private hospital exposure •Management experience for 2 - 4 years •Previous Unit Management will be advantageous •Strong attention to detail and accuracy •Strong leadership and interpersonal skills •Advanced Computer Literacy Salary: Market Related Application Process: It is imperative that when applying for this position you make use of the reference number otherwise your application will not be considered : To apply for the above mentioned position, please e-mail your CV to: Joburg@medxstaff.co.za If you don’t hear from us within 3 weeks of your application, please consider your application unsuccessful
