Key responsibilities include:
Strategic Management and Planning
Management of the Laboratory and the Quality Management System
Management of Production Department (standardised reagents)
Marketing, Sales and Public Relations
Liaison with clients

Financial and Administrative Management
Requirements for the ideal candidate:
Applicable BSc (Hons) degree in Micro-Biology / Chemistry / Biotechnology
At least 10 years Laboratory and Quality Assurance experience
Proven experience in a managerial position / leadership role
Experience in the wine or food & beverages industry (beneficial)
Well-developed business acumen
Excellent interpersonal skills
Strong leadership skills
Proven experience in financial management
Sound marketing, sales and negotiation skills
Well-developed decision-making and problem-solving skills
Dynamic, self-driven and results-oriented
A market-related remuneration package will be negotiated based on qualifications, skills and experience.
