Description
Critical areas include, but are not limited to:
Inventory Management - includes ordering, receiving, analysis, pricing and margin management, physical safeguards, and inventory counts.
Staff Management - setting up a roster, management of roster, management of the electronic clock-in system, instilling discipline, and service quality.
Facility Management - facility has a large garden, car wash, convenience shop, and public bathrooms. Candidates must be able to manage these facilities to ensure that they are kept clean, maintained, and up to standards.
Deli/Food Management - The facility runs a small takeaway food section that sells coffees, pies, chips, hamburgers etc. Candidate must be familiar with best food preparation practices and have an understanding of how to manage such a facility i.e., minimising waste, quality control, minimizing customer wait time etc.
Candidate Requirements
Important that the candidate has managed a petrol/fuel station/retail business before (this is not a training opportunity). Own transport is non-negotiable.
It is of critical importance that the candidate be able to work with the point-of-sale system to extract data to analyse, understand the analysis and take the required actions.
