Learning and Development Manager - SDF - EE

Provide Training, Learning and Development Solutions for the company

Responsibilities:

Formulate and implement the L & D strategy

Develop and integrated L & D plan - ensuring compliance with EE, Skills Development, BBBEE frameworks

Ensure mandatory L & D requirements are delivered

Lead, develop and implement the organisations L&D agenda

Develop systems and processes to manage skills training, Q/ESH

Work closely with the HR team to support the development of employees, identify leaders through succession planning, talent management process and pipeline planning

Design in-house and partner with third party training and development solutions

Explore and capatalise on all funding opportunities (merseta, SARS etc) to develop training, learning and development solutions

Develop an "Academy" concept within the business

Support the development of leadership development and the industion programme

Oversee the companies'' learning programme: Apprenticeship programme, bursary scheme, WISE (women in science and engineering), graduate programme; ensuring a standardized and consistent approach

Ensure that training solutions are compliant with local government standards

Optimise the use of the organisation''s learning management system

Champion the change towards digitalised solutions

Requirement:

Degree with L & D specialisation

At least 5 years experience in an L & D role

Accredited Skills Development Facilitator (SDF)

Training design and delivery

Experience with managing third party providers

Apprentice programme knowledge

Succession planning and talent management

Management of career pathways

Proficient in MS Office and LMS
