What’s the role?

You will be responsible for:
Drafting and implementing on detailed business strategies, plans and procedures
Planning and monitoring the day-to-day running of the business
Generating sponsorship revenue through direct sales and engagement
Overseeing the drafting of all conference agenda’s including topics, speakers and format
Conceptualising event format, pricing, theme, platform and location alongside current team
Managing all key stakeholder and client relationships
Developing and monitoring budgets for existing and new projects
Managing and leading the current team of employees including KPI assessments and new hires
Write and submit monthly reports to management in all matters of importance including budget updates, employee’s performance reviews and overall business and operational health
Being the public face and spokesperson of the company at all online and physical events
Developing new products and services for the businesses as well as growing existing revenue streams and products
Further establishing and growing the new Africa Proptech Forum platform
Decision on any dates and formats for new projects or events alongside shareholders
Researching and analysing industry, market, and competitors to make informed strategy decisions
Driving new/innovative products and systems to improve overall business and operations
Management of joint venture partnerships and relationships
Defining the commercial and financial feasibility of projects
Overseeing all marketing, communication, and advertising elements of the business alongside the head of communications

Matric
BSc/BA in Business or relevant field
3 to 5 years proven experience in a management position
5-7 years’ experience in the real estate and / or event industry
