Description
Our client wants to appoint a Finance Manager to join their team. Finance * Run with forecasting and financial projections of all businesses. * Project costing and project profitability. * Develop and analyse information to assess the current and future financial status of firms. * Evaluate data pertaining to costs in order to plan budgets. * Oversee the flow of cash and financial instruments. * Analyse and classify risks and investments to determine their potential impacts on companies. * Assist in preparing the financial budgets of the business. * Management the overall costs of the business within the set budgets. * Liaise with customers and suppliers where necessary. * Negotiate preferred pricing from suppliers. * Reviewing accounts and reconciling balance sheets. * Monitoring of cash flow and debtors.   Management * Provide and interpret financial information. * Establish procedures for custody and control of assets, records, loan collateral, and securities to ensure safekeeping. * Plan, direct, and coordinate risk and insurance programs of establishments to control risks and losses. * Establish and maintain relationships with individuals and business customers and provide assistance in resolving problems that these customers may encounter. * Participate in strategic planning and formulating long-term business plans on a quarterly and annual basis with the Directors and the Management Team. * Conducting reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities. Reporting * Evaluate financial reporting systems, accounting and collection procedures, and investment activities, and make recommendations for changes to procedures, operating systems, budgets, and other financial control functions. * Prepare financial and regulatory reports required by laws, regulations, and boards of directors. * Prepare monthly reporting packs, * Build PowerBI reports and dashboards * Prepare operational and risk reports for management analysis. * Meet with the Directors and Management Team to discuss financial requirements, specifications, costs, and timelines. * Ensure reporting deadlines for holding company are meet.   Administration * Develop and maintain systems to establish standards relating to activities. * Develop and implement policies and procedures for the Financial Department. * BEE admin and reporting. * Drive automation of processes and workloads.   Finance team management * Oversee internal team training programs and drive CDPs with team. * Recruit, manage and develop direct reporting staff when required. * Develop self and ensure current knowledge in Finance at all times, including adhering to professional requirements. * Participate in the Management Team, meeting weekly, providing the necessary information and input, and compiling the required dashboards. * CA(SA) * 10+ Years experience in a similar role * Good communication skills * A
