Johannesburg - The Enrolled Nurse is responsible for direct and/or indirect nursing care of a patient or group of patients and will function under the direct and/or indirect supervision of the Registered Nurse and shift leaderRequirements:Registration with the South African Nursing Council as an Enrolled NurseCompliance with the SANC code for an Enrolled Nurse and all applicable health care legislationComputer LiteracyFlexible in working hours/ShiftsBasic life support course by accredited service providerRelevant experience in a surgical unit Duties & Responsibilities:Practice patient care according to the hospital’s Standard operating procedures (SOPs) and assume responsibility and accountability for these activities under direct supervision of your seniorCarry out all unit related duties as assigned by supervisorsPromote and maintain good public relations with all stakeholdersAttend handover sessions and unit meetingsRefer any queries to the supervisor / shift leaderMaintain a safe working environment in accordance with the occupational health and safety Act (OHS Act)Report faulty equipmentAct within scope
