Description
Strate is currently recruiting for a Business Analyst to join their dynamic team. The purpose of the role is to translate business needs into detailed business requirements, functional and process, data , people and workflow specifications in relation to change initiatives to deliver and l enable change initiatives within Strate. *Business Process* *(Internal Process)* * Facilitate the business case development process in collaboration with the business sponsor and business manager * Facilitate partnerships between business and IT to ensure most appropriate business solution are agreed upon * Facilitate completion of gap analyses of business requirements and technology solutions * Analyse new business requirements in order to develop effective and professional Business Requirement Specifications (BRS) * Develop design principles based on the initial brief and scope provided by the Business and/or Owner * Collaborate with IT to ensure all BRS documentation is understood and adequately satisfied through Technical Specifications * Investigate and perform business needs analysis, interview product / business process owners to determine business requirements and identify alternatives * Liaise with Systems Analyst/s to ensure the BRS/Functional Specification(s) is understood * Support and enable IT in order to ensure that appropriate standards and solutions are identified and implemented across all business areas * Develop the testing pack and ensure system testing is effective (ie that requirements have been met) * In collaboration with internal stakeholder’s design fit for purpose training and presentation for new and enhanced solutions for product, services and system solutions * Support and enable the business to prioritise business requirements for system development or implementation * Documentation of business processes in UML in functional specifications * Validate and sign off business requirements with applicable stakeholders * Identify and promote optimisation, re-use and standardization opportunities within the Business to provide effective solutions to requirements * Create test cases and functional, integration and user acceptance testing activities * Set up and facilitate workshops with stakeholders to gather, identify and document the project and business owner requirements *Product Development Support* * Provide relevant information and motivate initiatives to IT change forums in terms of feasibility of the requests, ensuring timeous submission of required documentation * Document all findings and research as per the defined templates and ensure documents are stored on SharePoint * Deliver product design papers to define the operational practicality of the proposed products / services, for recommendations to EXCO * Deliver feasibility studies as to define the operational viability of initiatives for recommendations to EXCO * Provide input to project mandates as project implementation validation to EXCO for approval * Research and pre
