Job Description

Reporting to the Logistics Planning Manager. You will be responsible for:
Monitoring supply chain elements to assess performance efficiencies and effectiveness
Analysis in which all known variables and constraints are considered
Performing periodic supply chain analysis
Implementing, facilitating and /or coordinating the roll out of initiatives
Third party analysis inform on the costs, the reallocation of a sales contract against shipping point and preferred transporters
Analyzing related to the forecast loading provides a reliable base for material requirements planning
Analyzing of forecasted volumes for contracted fleets is submitted timeously
Reports are generated using data from relevant sources to ensure the compilation of meaningful information
Presentations to decide further project steps
Regular feedback on project progress
Ensuring that the data used is reliable and accurate and available when required
Ensuring that the quality of presentations and reports are of a high standard
Understanding of the dynamics that influence the supply chain
Qualifications
BSc Industrial Engineering (non-negotiable)
Skills
3 years experience in applying the principles of Industrial Engineering in supply chain
SAP or similar ERP supply chain
