1. Purpose of Role -The Engineering Specialist Winders is responsible for providing dedicated technical and operational winder support to the mining operations. The role requires competence in instrumentation, motor control and safety systems as used on winders. The role is further responsible to mentor and assist winder maintenance staff for the safe and reliable operation of the winders at the operations. 2. Work of Role -Must demonstrate a broad general technical expertise in the control and operations of winders -Identify, verify and isolate problems, work to resolve problems -Safe achievement of production performance levels through the effective maintenance of equipment operations -Strive for “best in class” maintenance performance from the winder discipline with minimum down time attributed to machine breakdowns -Contribute to the planning and scheduling effort for winder work 3. Qualifications -Grade 12 -N6: Electrician / Millwright / Mechanical -Trade Certificate - Electrician / Millwright / Mechanical 4. Experience -Minimum of 8 years' experience required with specific 5 years' experience on winders 5. Knowledge and Skills -Computer literacy for role -Valid driver's license Market Related 1.
