Description
Quality Assurance Engineering Responsibilities:
Proactively contribute & participate in the full solution development lifecycle as a member of a squad/ multiple squads as a QA automation specialist engineer.
Actively participate in daily scrum and project planning meetings.
Participate and analyze test automation requirements during the requirements analysis phase of technical product & service deployment, maintenance & optimization (across tribes & squads)- using design specifications and technical documentation (eg: Business Briefs, User Stories, Architecture and integration documentation)
Prepare QA & Automation testing documentation (planning, design, execution, and sustainability)
Develop automation test plans
Develop and execute automated test scripts using various technologies (automated scripts, test harnesses, SQL scripts etc)
Perform various types of automation testing (regression, integration, black box, scalability)
Evaluate automated test cases, analyze and report results Facilitate test plan/case reviews within squads
Work with product engineers to evaluate software/solution quality & provide recommendations for improvement/enhancement.
Contribute to the design and selection of testing frameworks for business applications
Deliver all automation & technical testing deliverables on time (always)
Provide the required project/ scrum related information/feedback on deliverables (eg: progress, tracking, quality, etc)
Conduct performance monitoring on applications/components of applications for which you''ve designed and executed test scripts/plans
Produce quality and testing outcome metrics ad reports
Provide real time feedback to the DevOps teams on change requirements identified throughout the testing process
Review & monitor system stability, resilience etc. throughout the testing process (e.g. integration) & in production
Define & monitor overall backlog planning for effective solution delivery
Provide Developer & User support during user acceptance testing
Required Experience
Minimum 3 - 4 years as a Test Analyst
Experience in the Banking and Payments
Test Automation tools e.g. Katalon, Selenium, Python)
Tertiary qualification in related field (Bachelors Degree or BTech)
At least 3 years experience in SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
At least 2 years of experience in developing RESTful APIs
At least 3 years of test automation experience: Selenium, Jasmine, POM, Cucumber
Experience working in public cloud infrastructure (GCP or AWS)
Experience writing SQL

Support implementation of required security measures such as firewalls or message encryption, monitoring performance to notify security experts of any problems.
Testing IT Performance
Analyse routine performance website/applications software tests and respond to user emails to monitor, diagnose, and correct performance issues.
Personal Capability Building
Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching. Develop and maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.
