LOGISTICS MANAGER - CITRUS

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
5 Years minimum experience as a manager in logistical co-ordination
Strong work ethic, Paltrack experience would be beneficial
Previous experience in the export industry would be beneficial
Analyse discrepancies and solve logistics problems
Updating of relevant database and systems
Record keeping of relevant documentation
Integration with pack house as well as administrative personnel
Attributes: Think on your feet, good people skills, attention to detail
Strong communication skills
Strong computer skills MS Word, Excel, Paltrack, MS Teams, Onedrive
Experience in the fields of logistics and export co-ordination
RESPONSIBILITIES
Managing and assessment of all logistics pertaining to fruit pallets during the packing season
Co-ordinating drivers, vehicles, loads and journeys
Planning for and negotiating technical difficulties
Managing and controlling all relevant administration associated with logistics including client queries
Reporting, feedback and relevant administration pertaining to the duties of the logistics manager and subordinates
Managing and controlling of container inspection and loading of fruit
Quality control of completed pallets and corresponding administration
