Description
Engineering ForemanEngineering Foreman needed in KathuNational Senior Certificate.Qualified Diesel Mechanic / Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic (Section 13/ 26D).Diesel Trade Theory N2 is Required.Supervisory Qualification will be advantageous.Valid Driver’s License.All Documents MUST be included with CV.Salary: Depending on Qualifications and Experience2 Years minimum experience in a Supervisory Designation.At LEAST 5 Years’ Post Trade working experience.Previous experience on heavy mobile equipment in an open cast mining environment.Opencast mining Experience highly required. Experience working for and with mining contractors highly beneficial.Candidates who have LDV experience, Auxiliary and then Heavy Earthmoving Equipment Experience.Proven extensive experience as an Engineering Foreman / Supervisor is non-negotiable.The Foreman will be on these above sections and will need relevant experience.Duties & Responsibilities:Compliance with all safety regulations as set out in the mines policies: Safety inspections, Risk assessments, Action plans on ICAM’s, PTO and VFL schedules.Maintenance Management.Monitor the quality of job card feedback and approve.Daily over inspections on machines.Ensure spare parts are available for execution of work.Supply the GES with relevant information on machine breakdowns, services, and performances.Equipment availability.Scrutinise the downtime information in the control room system to ensure accuracy.Use the information supplied by maintenance planner i.e., top 10 failures, average time between failures to prioritise resources.Monitor the performance of the equipment after a breakdown or planned maintenance work has been done to measure the Artisan’s quality of work.Quality Management.The job card process must be acknowledged within 2 days and possible setbacks must be communicated.Oil samples and action taken on recommendations should be within set limits.Labour Management.Discuss ‘comebacks’ with Artisans to identify any training needs and/or poor work performance.Is responsible for workshop discipline and teamwork.Duties & Responsibilities MUST be listed in detail on CV.Applicants residing in the area will have an advantage.Send Full CV’s to sales@bilnor.co.za
