Description
A well Automated company in the Innovative Tech industry is looking for a SQL Database Administrator who will strive to providing operational database services to the organization and produce solutions on performances while liaising with the team and stakeholders, this role will improve your optimizing and scripting skills using various troubleshooting tools.
Responsibilities:
- Responding to database related alerts and escalations to appropriate parties
- Examine and Implementing SQL best practices in the environment.
- Responding to database related alerts and escalations to appropriate parties
- Schedule SQL maintenance jobs
- Track all database related incidents, queries and requests
- Import all data from external sources into SQL database
- Manage all SSIS packages and give SSRS reports
- Extract all adhoc data using T-SQL
- Implement and review SQL practices in environment
- Upgrade SQL server and perform compatibility tests and maintain archives
Experience and Qualifications:
- MS SQL qualifications
- Relevant Qualification would be adventurous
- T-SQL query writing
- Knowledge in Recovery and backup methods
- Knowledge in trouble shooting tools and performance in PTO
- Knowledge of database maintenance, statistics, and index management
- Experience in creating reports using the SSRS
- Basic knowledge of Powershell
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database problems
- SSIS and Analysis Services (ETL)
- 4+ years relevant MS SQL Database Administration work experience
- SQL versions and script writing competence
