Personal Assistant: Sales Director

A company based in Bedfordview on the East Rand is looking for a young and ambitious candidate to fill the role of Personal Assistant to their Sales Director. This is an entry level position and experience is not required but is beneficial. The role of the PA is to free the Director's time from administrative duties so that he/ she can spend maximum time on strategic tasks.  * acting as a first point of contact, dealing with correspondence (phone calls and emails) * managing diaries and organising meetings and appointments, often controlling access to the Director * booking and arranging travel, transport and accommodation * assist with organising events and conferences * reminding the Director of important tasks and deadlines * typing, compiling and preparing reports, presentations and correspondence * managing databases and filing systems * implementing and maintaining procedures/administrative systems * liaising with staff and clients * collating and filing expenses * miscellaneous tasks to support their manager, which will vary according to the sector and to the manager’s remit, eg completing some corporate governance reporting (to ensure that the business is being run properly and complying with legislation and regulations) or conducting research * being a back up driver when the Director requests a personal errand * standing in to relieve the receptionist as and when needed   * Matric certificate  * Valid driver's license * Own reliable transport (to run errands as and when requested)  * Tertiary qualification (not essential)  R6000.00 - R8000.00 CTC per month dependent on experience/ qualification  * Matric certificate  * Valid driver's license * Own reliable transport (to run errands as and when requested)  * Tertiary qualification (not essential)
