TOOL, DIE & JIG MAKER (Umboginitwini, Durban)

Well established Engineering company situated in Umboginitwini, south of Durban seeks 2x Tool, Die & Jig Makers to join their growing business. Reporting to the Toolroom Foreman, this position requires the services of an individual to manufacture, repair, maintain and modify tools, jigs and dies to ensure that customer and company quality standards are met. *Must be a Qualified Tool, Die & Jig maker and have at least 5 years’ experience as a Tool Maker within an automotive environment.* *Own transport is essential.* * Manufacture, repair, maintain and modify tools, jigs and dies to customer and company requirement. * *Progression tooling in the automotive industry is essential* * Must be able to work under pressure and with little supervision.   *Must have knowledge of:* * Toolmaking Techniques * Tool, Die and Jig repair and maintenance * Manufacturing processes * Basic understanding of quality systems *Minimum Requirements* * Grade 12 * Qualified Tool and Jig maker * Min. 5 years’ experience as Toolmaker within an automotive environment * Min. 5 years Tool, Jig and Die repair experience * Good communication skills * Decision making * Read tool drawings * Problem solving * Own transport Competitive salary plus benefits.
