Description
Our Company is looking for a qualified and experienced a* Junior Service Technician* to join our dynamic team. Job Purpose: To to install, maintain and service a range of electronic and electro-mechanical equipment. The ability to represent the company in a professional manner is essential in maintaining the company’s integrity and ensuring good business relationships with the customers. The successful candidate should be self-motivated and able to work together in a team environment to ensure that problems are resolved speedily and response times are kept   * Service and maintain machines in accordance with manufacturer’s specifications. * Diagnose and repair faults on equipment effectively and efficiently. * Install equipment and train operators. * Provide on-site support throughout the Kwazulu Natal, as required. * Assist colleagues and other departments on technical / development issues. * Assist sales team with equipment demo’s as and when required. * Ensure that daily customer queries / problems are resolved promptly. * Client Liaison with the aim to grow business. * Assist customers to extract the best possible value from their equipment. * Ongoing telephonic support for customers. * Willingness to travel, as and when required * Ability to provide afterhours standby and/or after hours on-site support * Promote a professional appearance and maintain customer relations and company integrity. * Perform admin related tasks based on the policies and procedures set by management. * Perform other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above. *Work Experience* * 2 years’ experience in Electrical/Mechanical field   *Knowledge, Specialised Skills and Attitude* * Ability to establish effective working relationships with colleagues and customers. * Well-developed problem solving skills. * Ability to work under pressure and prioritise issues. * Willingness to work overtime as and when required. * Hands-on approach to equipment repair * Natural disposition for dedication and dependability   *Role requirements* * Own transport * Valid driver’s license (code 08) * Supervisory Responsibilities: N/A * Travel Demands: Yes *Education/Experience* * Grade 12 or Equivalent   *Computer/Technical Skills* * Must be computer literate * Proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint   *Competencies:* * Organisational, planning and multi-tasking skills and strong communication skills. * Information gathering and information monitoring skills. * Problem analysis and problem-solving skills. * Judgement and decision-making ability and show initiative. * Professionalism and confidentiality attention to detail and accuracy.   *Essential Attributes:* * Management Skills. * Leadership; Motivational Skills. * Strong Communication Skills. * Multitasking. * Customer Service.
