Internal Sales & Procurement

Handling incoming customer inquiries by phone, email, or in person

Prepare and send quotations based on customer requirements and technical specs.

Follow-up on quotations and convert them into sales orders.

Process order accurately on the ERP system and ensure timely delivery.

Provide technical advice and product information to customers (on-going training and support will be provided).

Maintain and update the ERP system with customer interactions and opportunities.

Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.

Assist with spare parts identification and upselling opportunities.

Support the external sales team with customer data, pricing and documentation.

Source and procure components, spares and raw materials from approved suppliers.

Create and issue purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner.

Monitor supplier performance and ensure on-time delivery of purchase orders.

Maintain optimal stock levels for key items and spares.

Work closely with stores and production to ensure material availability.

Resolve supplier issues, price discrepancies and delivery delays.

Identify cost-saving opportunities without comprising quality.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.

Experience:

• Scan and register invoices on Syspro for various departments.
• Responsible to save all registered invoices on the drive.
• Hand in scanned registered invoices with supporting documents to the Creditors Controller by COB on a Monday.
• Load and submit various requisitions as needed to support the finance department's operational requirements.
• Record flat steel receipts received to the warehouse within the Syspro system.
• Support the finance department by performing a range of general administrative tasks, including document preparation, data entry, and records management, to ensure efficient departmental operations.

Embedded FPGA Systems Development Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with system engineers to create system-level requirements, designs, implementations, and accompanying documentation
• Collaborate with system engineers to devise system-level test cases, procedures, and oversee their execution and reporting
• Create tools to enhance the system engineering processes
• Engage with COTS suppliers, explore system design and architecture using COTS products, evaluate and prototype them

Job Objectives:

• The Successful Incumbent (Toolmaker, Fitter and Turner, Turner Machinist), must be competent in reading mechanical drawings, actual planning and completion of the task as set out on the aforesaid drawing
• Be responsible for operating the Manual Lathes, for all components to be manufactured
• He must maintain quality as well as tolerances as stipulated for all tasks assigned to him and complete tasks as per project timing requirement.
