Description
Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical and instrumentation systems for industrial equipment
  • Prepare wiring diagrams, loop diagrams, panel layouts and instrument schedules
  • Assist with PLC and control system integration
  • Support commissioning, testing and troubleshooting activities on site when required
  • Ensure designs comply with SANS, IEC and site specifications
  • Collaborate with mechanical, process and project engineering teams
  • Prepare technical documentation and participate in design reviews
  • Liaise with suppliers on component selection and procurement
Requirements
  • BEng Electrical or BSc Electrical Engineering
  • Experience in electrical and instrumentation design within mining, manufacturing or heavy industrial environments
  • Proficient in AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN
  • Understanding of PLCs, instrumentation, control systems and industrial safety standards
  • Strong problem solving and communication skills
