Well established business with a focus on commercial property is seeking to employ an Electrical Engineer with a minimum of 10 years work experience.
The successful candidate will join a dyamic team. A BEng/BTech degree in Electrical Engineering is not negotiable. Must be fully billingual in both English and Afrikaans.

Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronic/Electronic Engineering (or similar)
Skills & Experience:
Minimum 1-2 years Embedded hardware development
experience
Minimum 1-2 years Embedded firmware development experience
Familiar with manufacturing environment
C/C++/C# coding
Testing & debugging
MPLAB (XC8 compiler) experience will be an advantage
EPS32, IoT
PCB design; schematic and PCB layout
2D CAD design experience with laser cutting will be an

Excellent time management skills are essential for this
position
Responsibilities:
Embedded Hardware:
Fault finding and repair of PCB’s
Create and make changes to Autodesk Eagle & Diptrace
projects and schematics
Create Bill of Materials for projects
Generate gerber and drill files
Technical support for new and existing projects
Embedded Firmware:
Able to create new firmware projects using MPLAB, Visual
Studio Code (PlatformIO), Arduino
