Description
1981 LandRover Series 3 LWB project. Petrol. Non-runner. Engine replaced (Ford conversion back to LandRover engine). Engine was tested and brought to working condition after replacement; requires SAP clearance.
Fuel tank to be replaced; existing tank leaks.
Exhaust system to be adjusted from Ford engine to LandRover engine.
New battery required.
May need new shocks.
Door lock mechanisms and sealing need attention.
Various spare parts available; no guarantee of complete set.
Project started years back but no capacity/time to complete.
Bought a great wheel set before conversion started, which is now past date.
Sturdy, old school LandRover stationwagon, settled in classic range; still registered and licensed with Ford engine, although has not run for a while.
