Senior Java Developer

Our client a new and innovative addition to the veterinary technology space, with offices based in Sandton.  Is looking for a Senior Java Developer to join the team.   Working hours are Mon - Fri 12:00 till 21:00. Will be reporting to CIO - Brisbane  * Designing, testing, and implementing java modules that need to read and write from and to various systems through respective APIs and databases. * Conduct code reviews; write unit, integration, and performance tests; and perform validation and verification tests; to improve code quality. * Strong coding skills in Java and rich experience in working with APIs and Databases. * Mentor junior team members.  * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. * 6 years’ Java Development V8+ experience. * Experience with JVM or .NET ecosystems.  * Knowledge of idustry best practices for code quality, architecture, accessibitlity, and usability.  * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. * 6 years’ Java Development V8+ experience. * Experience with JVM or .NET ecosystems.  * Knowledge of idustry best practices for code quality, architecture, accessibitlity, and usability.
