Previous work experience must *include 2+ years management consulting and project management in a commercial, innovative manufacturing/production environment*, experience in the *development of business strategy *is critical. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, manage projects with multiple stakeholders and have strong analytical skills in MS Excel/data analytics.   Location:  Based in Cape Town Salary:   R360 K ~ R420 K PA CTC based on experience   DETAILS Do you have experience in cross-functional project management in a commercially driven innovative manufacturing space? We have an exciting new opportunity available for the role of Operations Manager in a Biomanufacturing start-up based in Cape Town.     The company currently has a core team 10~15 staff members. The team has a driven, committed management team and highly innovative scientists with a focus on creating and producing sustainable agricultural and food solutions for the commercial market.      This multifunctional role works closely with the leadership team to help bring the business strategy to life. The role requires strong organisational skills and a proactive “can do” approach to implement, run and manage projects successfully within the operations environment. As the company scales up their operation volumes, this role will involve interfacing and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to realise and advance the companies mission and vison.                    REQUIREMENTS * Tertiary qualification (BSc / BCom Management / Honours / MSc) in Commerce/Food/Life Science/ Industrial Eng./Operations Management * At least 2 years in management consulting & project management role in commercial environment * Previous experience with developing & implementing business strategies in an innovative space * Must have experience with financial budgeting, forecasting & supplier management, * Good understanding of data and data analytics to develop dashboards (highly skilled with MS Excel)   * Must be adaptable, organised, practical, efficient, and self-motivated * Great interpersonal skills * Honest, reliable * Valid driver’s license & own vehicle   APPLICATION INFORMATION Commencement:              As soon as available Application information:  Please apply online at (https://bit.ly/3L3yixX)(https://bit.ly/3L3yixX)      Please note that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted
