At Touchdreams, we love designing and building great websites for our clients, and we’re looking for someone to join us and help make them. Would you like to be part of our team?
We're looking for someone to work with our senior web developer on several exciting website projects for our clients, using a wide range of programming languages, software, and tools.
The position is part-time or full-time (depending on your availability).
The position is remote, though any training that you need will be in person at a co-working space in the Southern Suburbs or in the Cape Town CBD.
The work you would be doing:
Your job would consist of building websites using a range of platforms, though for most of them, we use content management systems (CMSs). You will be expected to develop custom themes and custom plugins/modules, usually based on mockups (designs) that we provide to you. You will also have the opportunity to work with JS frameworks such as Vue, React, or Angular.
Most importantly, we're looking for someone who is a fast learner, and is excited by the work we do.

You would prefer to work with an agency than deal with clients yourself

Keen to learn: Is always happy to spend hours learning the skills and tools needed to do the job.
Tech savvy: Knows how to use computers and work applications (office), and has no resistance to using and learning new technology.
Responsible: Will do the work we give them each day, without wasting too much time being distracted by other things (social media).
Daring: Will regularly try new things, and will volunteer ideas to solve problems.
Kind: Will help others when there’s an opportunity to, and always speaks in a friendly way.
Focussed: Happy to work for long periods of time on something difficult (on a computer).
Requirements:
You need to live in Cape Town (unless you don’t need any training at all)
Available to work part-time or full-time (at least 4 hours per day)
The monthly salary we offer will be determined by your skills and how much experience you have, and will be an industry-standard salary between R8000 and R40 000 per month.
