Position: Business Development Manager (Commercial and Personal Lines)

Requirements:

· 5 years+ short term insurance industry experience and sound sales experience with a strong presence in the broker community.

· Must have either RE5.

· Strong business acumen.

· Sound knowledge of the insurance industry commercial lines & personal lines.

· Drivers license, own vehicle and ability to travel around Gauteng.

· High level confidence and results driven.

· Ability to demonstrate excellent communication skills, which can be adapted to meet the requirement in diverse circumstances.

· Effective time management.

Responsibilities:

· Produce a business plan that reflects market opportunities within the area.

· Produce a sales plan that demonstrates hot to identify, develop, and manage prospects.

· Deliver and enhance the highest level of client satisfaction by working with brokers to map and determine their business needs in delivering superior client service.

· Assisting with quotations.

· On-going product supper to financial advisers.

· Keeping up to date with the competitor product and service offering and industry developments.

· Participating in proactive sales and marketing initiatives.

· Exceed annual targets for Business unit.
