Karman pickups are high quality pickups that come to the consumer at an affordable price, now you can upgrade your entry level standard guitar pickups with something that sounds great without breaking the bank.Karman Hot Pro AlNiCo 5 pickup is classic vintage looking sounding single-coil pickup that has a modern twist, it has a super hot over-wound coil which gives a DC output of 12k this is perfect for players who like a hotter bridge pickup to drive their amp when the bridge is selected for David Gilmour like solo’s. You still keep the chimey bright single-coil sound that cuts through a mix but with a more humbucker like output and drive.To add to the vintage aesthetic of the pickups, the bobbins and flatwork are made with vulcanized fiber instead of plastic and the wires are cloth braided wire. The pole pieces are also staggered to better suit vintage radius necks that you find on Fender Strat or Squier (7.25 – 9.5”) if you have a more modern neck radius (10″ – 14″) which is common on Cort or Ibanez guitars then our Karman Classic Pro is normally the preferred option, it is the same quality pickup but with higher output and flat pole pieces instead of staggered. Karman Alnico 5 humbucker pickups are great for most genres of music from pop to rock, do not let the price fool you, these pickups are great! The bridge pickup is much hotter than the neck, allowing you to drive your amp a bit more with the flip of the selector switch.This particular pickup has a nickel baseplate, 2.5mm USA/Imperial mounting screws and 6 fixed studs on one side and 6 adjustable screws on the other side of the pickup.The 4 cord wires allow you to coil split the pickup into a single coil by grounding the red and white wires via a push pull pot or a toggle switch. If you do not wish to coil split then just ignore the red and white wires (we recommend putting a piece of tape around them) and connect the BLACK wire to your switch/volume and the GREEN wire to ground.
