This is from the late 1990s era when Tama built their shells from warm, focussed Basswood and Philippine mahogany (luan) — a tonewood known for deep low-end and punchy mids.Killer studio kit with probably the best kick I have heard in a sound treated room.This particular kit was only used for rehearsal and studio sessions, i.e. well look after. Selling because I am moving abroad.This kit can be considered a collectable as these are from an iconic era of rock music when Tama moved away from oversized toms to the start of the Rock tom sizes we see today.
