produced by Gottlieb with a bowling theme. The title is a reference to a
perfect game in the sport, in which a bowler scores 300 points.

pinball—same game, just different number of players (4 players versus 2
players).[clarification needed] Gottlieb sold this game design in the two
varieties, though they are essentially exactly the same game (with slight
artwork differences). The 2 player version (Top Score) had a lower price than

spend. This game used animated backbox red (bowling) balls for the bonus unit.

Bally’s Doctor Who is themed upon the British sci-fi
television serial which has been in production since 1963. The game itself
features the first seven “Doctors” who appeared in the title role--each Doctor
is associated with a different playfield scoring feature and can be selected by
the player throughout game progression. The main feature of the game is the
Time Expander unit, a moving mechanism with different levels where players are
challenged to lock balls and collect targets, leading up to the game’s main
multi-ball mode. A Dalek topper and the show’s trademark blue “Police Box” on
the lower right of the playfield round out the unique “Whovian” traits that

condition Williams Firepower pinball machine available. Firepower is a Williams
pinball machine, first released in February of 1980, designed by Steve Ritchie.
Firepower is the second pinball to feature speech (the first being
"Gorgar"). The seven word ability was over double Gorgar's three word
memory. Firepower has three notable "firsts":
1) the first pinball with the "lane
change" feature in which the right flipper button controlled the lit/unlit
status of rollover lanes,
2) the first SS pinball to have a multiball
feature. Attaining three balls in play at the same time was an uniquely
attractive reward.
3) the first playfield animation. This
"countdown to multiball" animation was innovative and amazing in
1980. It was also near the limit of the electronic and computational capacity
of the hardware.
With 17.410 units manufactured it ranks #5
