Hi everyone, my name is Nsovo. I am a final-year student at the University of Cape Town offering high-quality tutoring in Mathematics and Physical Sciences.
I have several years of tutoring experience and have worked with some of South Africas leading tutoring companies. Ive supported students across different learning environments, helping them improve their understanding, confidence and results
My experience includes:
- One-on-one tutoring (online & in-person)
- Group lessons
- Classroom teaching experience
- Working with students of different levels and learning styles
- Additionally, I taught Advanced Mathematics (Class 1012) at Michael Oak Waldorf School (January 2024 to December 2025) gaining valuable classroom experience and curriculum insight
My tutoring approach focuses on:
- Breaking down difficult concepts
- Exam preparation and problem-solving techniques
- Building strong foundations and confidence
Rates:
- One-on-one online: R200/hour
- In-home lessons (within 15km of UCT): R300/hour
- Online group lessons (Grade 1012 Maths & Physical Sciences):
- R350/month 1 lesson per week
Group lessons are held Monday to Thursday between 18:0020:00 (time slots assigned based on groups)
The first lesson is free. I use this as an assessment to see where the learner is currently at with the curriculum and to identify any knowledge gaps we need to work on.
