 About the Role We are looking for an experienced and reliable individual to oversee the production of bird seed mixes including wild bird blends, canary seed, pigeon mixes, and specialized formulas. The ideal candidate must understand seed varieties and have hands-on experience in feed or grain processing. ⸻  Key Responsibilities • Prepare and mix bird seed products according to formulation sheets. • Operate and maintain mixers, sifters, bagging equipment, and cleaning machinery. • Ensure consistency and quality of all seed mixes produced. • Inspect raw materials for quality, moisture, contamination, and cleanliness. • Record production and batch data accurately. • Maintain a clean, food-safe working environment. • Assist with stock management and receiving raw materials. • Supervise general staff (if required). ⸻  Requirements • 2–5 years' experience in animal feed processing, milling, or grain handling. • Strong knowledge of seed types (millet, sunflower, canary seed, sorghum, barley, oats, etc.). • Ability to operate production machinery and perform basic maintenance. • Able to read and follow formulation sheets accurately. • Physically fit and able to lift 20–25 kg bags. • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently. ⸻  Advantageous • Forklift licence • Experience in agricultural or pet food production • Mechanical aptitude or basic repair skills ⸻  Salary Market-related (based on experience). ⸻  How to Apply Interested candidates can send their CV to: jakcofeeds@gmail.com
