We are currently seeking Multi Disciplined Level II technicians who will report to the Branch Manager at our Johannesburg Branch Office. This position is responsible for performing non-destructive testing using the company’s approved procedures and the relevant acceptance criteria chosen by the client. Non-destructive Testing Services locally, nationally and internationally targeting mainly the petrochemical and piping fabrication markets.Job Purpose:Conducts regular and complex testing to determine acceptability of material or product.Examines product for possible internal or external defects.Prepares material to properly examine material by cleaning, identifying, setup, etc.May read or interpret blueprints or drawings, specifications and relevant procedures in order to accomplish NDT setups, tests, and report preparation.Requirements:•Matric Certificate or equivalent•Radiographic Testing Level 2 with DOH & Winding License•Magnetic Particle Testing Level 2•Penetrant Testing Level 2•Passport•Own Transport & Accommodation•Minimum 3 years’ experience with updated log hours•Computer literate.•Valid driver’s license with no endorsement•Understanding & interpreting codes.•Attention to detail•Excellent communication skills.•Works well under pressure•Excellent time management skills•Capable of obtaining customer certification requirements.•Ability to work any shift, OVERTIME and travel abroad.•Capable of distinguishing and differentiating colours•Vision of 20/25 in at least one eye, natural or correctedSalary: Market RelatedDuration: Permanent PositionIf you meet our essential criteria and are looking for a role in a productive team, please submit your applications to the Human Resources Department: recruitment@nationalndt.co.za
