According to toastermuseum.com, this Omega toaster was made in Germany in the 1920s. The website states that this particular model is very rare. It is not working, but an inspection of the element shows that it appears to be continuous, and so hopefully some careful attention would allow the current to flow again. Either way, this is a most unusual item for the serious collector of early twentieth century ephemera. The cord and plug appear to be original.
