Child's Vintage Sewing Machine for restoration or to preserve as found.Digging up corner of my back garden, i came across this sewing machine. My parents moved in here in the mid 1950's, & we were only 2 brothers. The house was built in 1942/3 & guess it belonged to 1 of the daughters of the previous owner, so this sewing machine has been covered in sand for at least 70 years, yet there are NO holes in the metal, not even scales of rust to be seen.A true testimony to the quality of metal of that era.I hosed it down washed all sand away, then lightly nylon brushed parts of the metal.According to research i did, it appears to be a CASIGE make, & was German made. The bobbin of cotton was still on it & attached to the needle, but cotton just broke when i hosed it down.It is/was Maroon in color, both sides still clearly visible in Maroon.True collectors item for restoring or just preserving it.Open to offers & obviously goes to highest offer. Please make an offer if interested !Should you wish to be informed of highest offer, please indicate to that.Eddie : 068 294 5735Prefer Whatsapp or Email though as not always with Tablet.Whatsapp : 065 972 2859
