Technical Planning: Develop dredging strategies based on hydrographic and topographic surveys and sediment analysis to determine the best equipment (e.g., cutter suction vs. Jet suction dredgers). Compliance & Safety: Enforce strict adherence to marine safety protocols (e.g., OSHA, EM 385-1-1) and environmental regulations to minimize impact on marine ecosystems. Financial Control: Manage project budgets, tracking costs for fuel, labor, and equipment maintenance while ensuring accurate invoicing and collections.Typical Daily Duties Conducting site visits and reviewing hydrographic and topographic survey data to verify dredge profile deliverables.
