It was produced in Indonesia by Cor-Tek as part of the Standard series line. The SR520 features a double-cutaway mahogany body bolted to a 5-piece maple and rosewood neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with inlayed abalone ovals position markers and a matching headstock. Components include a pair of Bartolini MK1-4 passive pickups AND a Bartolini MK1 preamp with a 3-band EQ, an Accu-cast B20 fixed bridge with 19mm string spacing, a plastic nut, cosmo black hardware and Ibanez die-cast tuning machine heads. The S2800 has an offset Strat style body with an extra deep cutaway allowing easy access to the upper frets. The headstock was designed for straight string pull from the bridge to the nut. The S2800 models featured a soft maple body with a quilted maple top.
