This is a youth novel by South African author Marita van der Vyver, which won the Sanlam Prize for Youth Literature in 2002.
The book was also adapted into a feature film released in 2010.
It tells the story of Hanna Hoekom, a teenage girl with a vivid imagination and an unconventional family.
