It provides services involving client placements and departmental accounts for approximately 60 client companies.The Role: Finance ManagerThe purpose of this role is to ensure all day-to-day accounting matters are carried out to maintain accurate financial information. It exists to provide a continuous overview across group companies and handle financial and administrative matters as they arise. The main focus is the execution of accounting tasks from daily transactions through to the preparation of management accounts.Key ResponsibilitiesDemonstrate 510+ years of accounting and finance experience.Manage daily supplier invoices, payments, and ad hoc financial queries.Perform weekly raising of inter-company recharges and management fee sales invoices.Complete monthly payroll journals, depreciation, accruals, prepayments, and nominal ledger reviews.Prepare and check the month-end balance sheet reconciliations for sales, purchases, bank, PAYE, VAT, pension, and fixed assets.Produce monthly management accounts and departmental accounts to show profitability for client companies.Execute inter-group reconciliations across 12 group entities.Maintain accounts on Sage 50 and manage month end closedown and backups.About You510+ years in accounting or finance.Experience managing multiple companies or entities (multi-entity/group exposure).Full ownership of the month-end close, journals, and balance sheet reconciliations.Proficiency in Sage 50 and strong Excel skills for data manipulation and reporting.Proven ability to produce full monthly management accounts and quarterly reporting packs independently.Hands-on experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll journals.Highly organized with strong attention to detail to identify mis-postings or reconciliation issues.Chartered Accountant CA(SA), ACCA, or CIMA qualification preferred, or strongly Qualified by Experience (QBE).
