The Tube Zone was designed with valve amp-like response in mind, and gets it's unique tone by mimicking the signal path of modern valve amps by clipping the signal up to 4 times. In short it features 4 clipping stages for tube amp-like response and tone. The MI Audio Tube Zone overdrive pedal is known for its versatility, capable of producing a wide range of tones from mild crunch to heavy distortion, and is as mentioned before designed to mimic an overdriven tube amp. It's key effects are shaped by a highly customizable set of controls, including gain, volume, tone, brightness, mids, and character, allowing users to adjust the low-end, mid-range, and treble to suit different genres from stoner rock to modern metal. Decca Auto Deccalian Model 88 - For Spares or Service FOR SALE IS A 1950S DECCA AUTO DECCALIAN MODEL 88 PORTABLE RECORD PLAYER. IT MAKES A MECHANICAL SOUND WHEN STARTED BUT AS IS IT DOES NOT WORK AND IS IN NEED OF A SERVICE. THE DECCA AUTO DECCALIAN MODEL 88 WAS ONE OF THE FINEST PORTABLE RECORD PLAYERS EVER PRODUCED. IT WAS ONLY PRODUCED FOR A TWO YEAR PERIOD BETWEEN 1957/58. AT 37 GUINEAS (OR ROUGHLY 40 US DOLLARS) IT WAS EXSPENSIVE FOR ITS TIME AND WAS AIMED AT YOUR CONNOISSEUR. NOWADAYS THEY'RE PRETTY SCARCE, ESPECIALLY IN A REASONABLY GOOD CONDITION. This one's an earlier example, fitted with a Garrard RC120/4D fully automatic record changer which can also be used manually if desired. It uses valve technology to reproduce the sound. (5 Valeves = ECC83(2) EL84(2) EZ80) It was advertised in a 1958 Currys promotional catalog as a 'genuine Hi-Fi record reproducer' and came with an 8 watt amplifier, 8"x5" bass and 4" treble speakers. Obviously as you would expect the carry case and handle has some wear but generally speaking it is in good condition. It has a hinged lid and still even has its four screw-in legs!
