To provide integrated speech and language therapy services within a progressive private school environment, supporting early identification, intervention, and ongoing development of learners, while simultaneously operating an independent private practice from purpose-designed facilities on the school campus. Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:Degree in Speech and Language TherapyRegistration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)5 years relevant clinical experience working with childrenStrong experience in early childhood and Foundation Phase language developmentCompetence in assessment, diagnosis, intervention planning, and progress reportingAbility to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teamsEntrepreneurial mindset and willingness to run an independent private practice on siteKey Performance Areas:Provide speech and language therapy services to learners within the school environmentConduct assessments, screenings, and early identification of speech, language, and communication needsDeliver individual and small-group interventions aligned to learner needs and developmental milestonesCollaborate closely with teachers, learning support staff, and families to embed support into daily learningContribute to preventative, inclusive support models rather than isolated pull-out therapySupport language development within Learning Hubs and enquiry-based learning environmentsEducate and guide parents and educators through practical strategies and feedbackEstablish and manage an independent therapy practice operating from the school campusMaintain accurate clinical records, reports, and professional documentationPractice Opportunity (On-Site)Dedicated therapy space within a well-resourced, purpose-designed school campusOpportunity to build a private client base alongside school-based workNatural referral pathways through the school
