At Kgololo Academy, you will have the opportunity to develop your teaching practice, be part of a supportive team, and contribute to the academic success of children in a high-potential, low-income community.QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERTISE:Bachelor’s Degree or PGCE in EducationPassion for serving students in a community with immense potentialStrong work ethic with a commitment to being present from 7:15 AM to 3:15 PM daily, and after hours as neededAbility to create detailed, meaningful weekly lesson plansFluency in both written and spoken EnglishRESPONSIBILITIES:Plan and teach exciting lessons that help students learn and grow, making sure lessons fit their needs.Keep track of students' progress and make adjustments to help them improve.Encourage students to work hard, take on challenges, and never give up.Create a classroom where all students feel welcomed, respected, and motivated.Build strong relationships with students and their families, keeping them informed and involved in their child's learning.Organize parent meetings to discuss how students are doing and how we can work together to support them.Work with other teachers to plan fun and educational activities that help students learn in different ways.Take part in school events and team meetings to help make the school a better place for students.Keep learning by joining training and development programs to improve as a teacher.Help improve the school’s teaching methods and share ideas to make lessons even better.Be a positive role model and show respect, responsibility, and care for the school community.Assist with after-school activities and school events to give students a well-rounded experience.APPLICATION PROCESS:If you are passionate about teaching and eager to join a dedicated team, please email your CV to careers@kgololoacademy.org.
