The special ‘prop well’ enabled the propellers to be lifted up into the hull so as not to slow the ship down under sail. The actual vessel was saved and is on display in Denmark today. The model is an expert level build from Billings boat. The model kit cost over $658 and has all the rigging in the correct layout, canon and deck decoration in good condition. The display case measures 110*72cm. At over a metre wide this is an impressive maritime display.
