(OTD). Oversee daily dispatch operations, ensuring all outgoing goods are checked, labelled, and documented correctly (e.g., unit weight, package weight, bag quantity and bag numbering).Maintain clear demarcation and color-coded zones in the dispatch area. Train staff on storage protocols for easy accessibility and prevent cross-contamination.Ensure customer-specific labelling (e.g., ABECO) is followed meticulously.Ensure customer inspection zone holds only accurately documented and approved goods.Confirm all goods for dispatch are checked against documentation before being accepted from the warehouse. Records of personnel that checked the goods must be clearly recorded. (Name, Surname, Signature and date)All goods received from the Dispatch staging are must be pre-checked before acceptance into the dispatch area. Documents must be clearly recorded as CHECKED or PARTIAL along with the Sales order number and the customer delivery date.Any incorrect goods, short quantities or any inaccuracies of an order in the dispatch staging area must be immediately reported to the Group Inventory Manager for prompt handling.Logistics & Transport CoordinationPlan and optimize routes to ensure on-time delivery (OTD) performance is adhered to.Source and evaluate logistics service providers for cost-effectiveness and performance.Negotiate contracts and monitor adherence to service level agreements.Ensure diesel tank levels are monitored and refuelled timeously.Schedule daily diesel fill-ups for trucks.Schedule prompt collections where required.Ensure vehicles are always clean and tidy.Manage drivers: All route deviations or unplanned stops must be reported immediately.Vehicle Proxy ResponsibilitiesAct as the designated proxy for all company vehicles, ensuring compliance with legal, licensing, roadworthiness, and insurance require
