- Collection and verification of all timesheets, leave forms, sick notes etc. from all branches.
- Manually calculating salaries according to hours worked per employee.
- Capturing all types of leave for employees.
- Collaborating with the human resources department to maintain employee data.
- Resolving issues employees have with timesheets, payslips and other payroll matters.
- Changing employee bank records when necessary to process payments accurately.
- Assist with monthly salary administration on VIP Premier.
- Assist with month end procedure i.e., 3rd party recons, salary journals.
- Assist with processes and policies related to remuneration and benefits.
- Assisting with applying for tax directives as and when needed.
- Assisting with Internal and Group reporting.
- Maintaining information on BEE123.
- Termination process.
- Consolidation and input of annual salary increases.
- Liaise with staff on admin queries, changes to medical aid, pension plans and payroll queries.
- Always comply with company policies & procedures.
- Reporting all misconduct and undesirable behaviour immediately to the MD/ Branch Manager.
- Reporting all instances of theft to the MD/ Branch Manager immediately.
- Maintaining and improving upon all client relationships.
- Fostering a culture of teamwork and a positive approach towards the company and its objectives.
- Any other duties related to this position as requested by your Superior.
Skills and Attributes & Requirements
- At least 2 years SAGE 300 People experience (non negotiable)
- Matric
- Diploma/Certificate in HR advantageous
- Knowledge of BCEA and latest developments in the field
- Understanding of payroll processes
- Full knowledge of the Payroll System
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Be able to work under pressure & with minimum supervision
- Organised
